LiftArcade Privacy Policy

LiftArcade helps users create, track, complete, and share workouts. This Privacy Policy explains what information LiftArcade collects, how it is used, and the choices users have.

Information We Collect

We collect information users provide directly in the app, including:

• Account information, such as username, email address, password hash, and authentication-related data.
• Workout information, such as workout titles, workout preferences, selected muscle groups, training goals, intensity, duration, rest time, notes, exercises, sets, reps, weight, cardio time, cardio distance, completion status, and workout history.
• Progress information, such as exercise history, experience points, and app level.
• Community information, such as shared workout templates, community notes, likes, dislikes, reports, and blocked users.
• Password reset information, such as reset code metadata used to help restore account access.

We may also process technical information generated when the app or backend is used, such as request metadata, IP address, device or network information, server logs, and error information. This is used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Generate, save, track, and display workouts and exercise progress.
• Provide community features, including sharing, saving, reacting to, reporting, removing, and blocking content or users.
• Send password reset emails and support account security.
• Moderate unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate community content.
• Maintain, secure, debug, and improve LiftArcade.

Artificial Intelligence and Service Providers

LiftArcade may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including cloud hosting, database storage, email delivery, and AI services. LiftArcade uses OpenAI API services to help generate workouts, provide exercise information, and assist with content moderation or safety features.

Information users enter or generate in the app may be sent to OpenAI when needed to provide these AI-powered features. This may include workout preferences, selected muscle groups, training goals, intensity, duration, rest time, workout notes, workout titles, exercise names, sets, reps, weight, cardio details, community notes, moderation prompts, and related workout or exercise context.

Users should not enter sensitive personal information, medical records, government identification numbers, financial information, or highly private details into workout notes, workout titles, community notes, or other app fields. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be treated as medical advice or professional coaching.

We do not use these service providers to sell personal information or track users across apps and websites. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train or improve OpenAI models by default unless the API customer opts in.

Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help run LiftArcade, when required by law, to protect users or the app, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Community Content

If a user shares a workout to the Community page, other users may see the shared workout, author username, note, reactions, and related workout details. Users should avoid posting private or sensitive information in community notes or workout titles.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account and workout information for as long as needed to provide LiftArcade or as required for security, legal, or operational reasons. Users can delete their account in the app. Account deletion removes the account, workouts, exercise progress, community posts, and related community report data from the active database. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or records where legally or technically necessary.

Privacy Choices

Users can:

• Update workout preferences in the app.
• Change their password in the app.
• Delete their account in the app.
• Remove their own shared workouts from Community.
• Report community workouts or users.
• Block other community users.

Children

LiftArcade is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, App Store listing, or another appropriate method.
